You say that the 45 minute clock isn't meant to screw anyone, which I believe is true, but it does screw people. I am on this site as often as I can, which is very often, but I work 6 days a week as a pastry chef and it is nearly impossible for me to check my phone that often.
This is a dynasty league, so even if the stats and records can not be used retroactively, there will be many seasons after this one. I don't see a reason to fly through the draft.

I agree if we want a tight window we should organize a live draft...a 45 minute window is tough for the working folks, let alone for those in different time zone...

Live draft is impossible, that's just not happening with 30 people. But the window is too tight. How about we set up a time in the coming days that works for as many people as possible and tell them to COME ON THE SITE for at least 2 hours so we can bang out a bunch of picks. Anyone who can't make it has to send a list to someone or they are skipped. If we do this a few times in the next 3 weeks, we will get this all done in no time. |

I'd try to lay out how the live draft would work with the cue and everything. I was hesitant at first, but if you set up a queue then it would take one of those guys as your autopick
