Travis D'arnaud 15: $0.4M
Tim Beckham 15: $0.4M

Reds send:
Josh Harrison 15: $1.8M
Will Venable $4.3M
Cash 15: $4.3M

Braves accept. I HATE moving D'arnaud and Beckham, but C and SS are two positions I feel very comfortable with longterm with Lindor, Alfaro and Marlette working their way up. Harrison is essentially a 27 year old ben Zobrist, which I like to add. This trade helps me this month, as I swap a franchise piece in D'arnaud for a franchise piece in Harrison. Venable gives me a reserve at RF and CF, which I lacked previously.

The deal will help ATL this month, as he cites. But I think d'Arnaud is way more of a franchise piece than Harrison. If he is trying to go all in this year, the deal makes sense with d'Arnaud out now and splitting time with Plawecki when he comes back. Makes sense from both sides, and a very fair deal.
