Holy Shit! Betances is nice for sure but I never thought he would bring back an offensive all star catcher and a closer who usually gets about 30+ saves per season. I guess I will think on this for a bit but this one is a bit strange. Betances is playing like the best player in the trade for the moment I get it but 22M, McCann, and Feliz for him......Stand by until I sort this one out.

I give up a good young player for a catcher I need. Plus I get a good pitcher who may be an injury just waiting to happen. I am taking that chance. I really hate losing him but need a catcher badly and joe has an excess.

First of all if a trade is close or if there is something to consider you do need to put the reasoning. With that said I put why I am researching the trade more. Nats even acknowledged above that on its face the trade doesn't look good. With that said the main players involved are a wash Closer for catcher, the value changes with the huge amount of cash, Ogando does not move the needle. So as for the cash part I will say that based on the other trades made in this league under the current standards, the cash is NOT enough for me to veto the trade. So APPROVE

I do think its a big undersell by Joe, don't get me wrong, but he wasn't getting many good offers and Betances is a very nice chip. Could have done worse.
